Inspiring academy for ages 7-14 years

Our Hockey Academy provides a unique opportunity to be coached by some of the country’s greatest players.

Coaches will teach players the skills and strategies needed to perform as confident and competent players. We employ a team of first-class coaches to deliver a programme that mixes skill drills with small-side challenges and extensive gameplay. Young players will develop their skills, pick up new techniques, and have the opportunity to apply them all in a fun and inspiring environment.

🏑Our coaching team are happy to help athletes who have a specific area or skill that they would like to develop. Please speak to the Lead Coach when signing in on the first day of the Academy. 🥅

PREVIOUS STAR COACHES:

HELEN RICHARDSON-WALSH: Over the course of her 17-year international career Helen amassed a Commonwealth bronze and two silvers, a bronze at London 2012, and the European Championship title in 2015. Helen was one of only two players to score during a tense penalty shootout and is recognised at world level as one of the best in the business – shortlisted for the World Player of the Year Award and named in the FIH World All Stars Team three times. ‘Be the Difference, Create History and Inspire the Future’ was their team mantra and having stepped down from international duty with almost 300 caps, Helen continues to play at club level in Cambridge..
